A cosy flat that’s nice and warm,
Safe from any winter’s storm;
Hot mince pies that have just been made,
Whose smell will take some time to fade;
Hot mulled wine with rising steam
Adds to a winter evening’s dream.
Lots of talk, and laughter too,
About the past, and all things new.
