Education is the key
To what a child can hope to be;
In places schools do not exist
Children will be in a mist
Unable to see very far
From the village where they are.
Education changes all,
Freeing children from the thrall
Of lack of knowledge, hopes and aims,
That still today so often frames
The lives of children, especially girls,
For whom no better life unfurls
Unless they somehow get the chance,
Their education to advance.
