The earth in the woods has a carpet of blue
As all of the bluebells start flowering anew;
Packed close together, it looks from afar
There's nothing at all lies between them to mar
The sheets of bright blue which are commonly found
At this time of year again covering the ground.
But move a bit closer and there can be seen
Various blues plus some patches of green,
As thousands of bluebells present to our eyes
Just one more example of where beauty lies.
