Ideas flit endlessly to and fro,
Following me wherever I go,
Crying out to be written down,
Set in the country and set in the town;
Meant for adults, or babies or teens,
And all the many inbetweens;
Poems and plays and sketches too,
Covering subjects old and new;
Short, short stories and longer books –
Ideas are there wherever one looks,
Just waiting for someone – perhaps it’s me,
To write about all that they think and see.
