Each day of our lives we should make it our aim
To do something different, instead of the same;
So learn some new facts and increase what we know,
So helping our bundle
of knowledge to grow;
Do a good deed and thus help make the world
A place where kind acts every day are unfurled;
Visit a place that you think you’ll adore
But haven’t been able to visit before;
Join a new group, with the chance that you’ll meet
People from further afield than your street;
Be slightly artistic, create something new,
Written or painted, to mention just two;
Pay compliments freely and make people feel
The idea of goodness is very much real;
Think always of something to make all your days,
Special and different in large or small ways.
