A bright sunny day with a hint of a breeze,
With no sound of traffic, just humming of bees
As they call on each flower gaily showing its face
And spreading the scent which pervades the whole place.
A sure sign that summer’s appeared at long last,
And cold dismal weather belongs in the past;
It’s time to enjoy the warm sun once again,
Before it’s replaced by the frosts and the rain.
