Faced with yet more pouring rain,
It’s “brollies up” yet once again;
Even though we’re in July
It seems there’s not a day goes by
Without at least a few small drops,
While other days it hardly stops.
By that of course I do not mean
That there’s no sunshine in between,
But rain quite often just appears,
Comes pelting down and then it clears;
But that’s enough to soak you through
From hair right down to squelching shoe.
When going out, make sure that you
Always take your brolly too
