Everyone likes the streets to be clean,
With dirt and rubbish never seen,
But they don't become pristine by themselves,
Nor are they cleaned by little elves.
No, they relay on a busy team
Of people that some types would deem
As very low on the social scale,
But if those people ever fail
To sweep the streets then one would find
The rubbish and litter left behind
Still sitting there for weeks on end,
Driving everyone round the bend.
