There is little chance that we
Within our lifetimes here shall see
A world where only peace will reign,
A world delivered from the stain
Of constant wars and civil strife,
Where evil aims and deeds are rife,
Which in the past has been the case,
Marring the lives of the human race.
How much nicer it would be
Were our world to be set free
From all the violence that occurs
In this present life of hers.
